This survey is designed to gather some early data about what your likely subject choices will be moving into Year 12. This will help inform the teacher who will interview you early in Term 4 to discuss: > How you've tracked in each of your subjects in Year 11, > What your goals are for Year 12 and beyond, and > What should most shape the decision about what subject to drop, if any. Keep in mind that this is just a survey at this stage. You are not being asked to decide now which subject you will drop - you are just indicating where your thinking is currently at on this.

Important things to consider before you do actually drop a subject...
#1:Don't make subject choices based on the fact your friends are in the class, or you like the teacher you currently have. Timetables often change, meaning your classes and teachers may not stay the same shortly after you start Year 12. #2:Don't necessarily pick your worst performing subject from Year 11 to drop. Use the reflections on your need for the subjects AND your efforts in them during Year 11 to shape a well-informed decision. #3: If you drop down to 10 or 11 units and then decide after a few weeks that you dropped the wrong 2-unit subject, there's a strong chance you won't be able to change your mind and go back to the subject you dropped.
